The topic of housing concerns everyone. Around 60% of households in Switzerland live in rented apartments. And tenants change around 400,000 times a year. Until recently, the rental process involved a lot of bureaucracy concerning both tenants and landlords.

Flatfox is agile
We closely observe what landlords and tenants require today and translate their needs into up-to-date, practical tools. Our creativity and innovative strength ensure that we keep pace with the dynamics of the market, society and technology.

Flatfox ist target-oriented
We are constantly developing our products to give our users a competitive edge and speed up the rental process. This is made possible by our methodical approach and our focus on functionality and efficiency.

Free of charge
The Flatfox service is free of charge for private customers, new tenants and apartment seekers. We also offer a Business free model for corporate customers and commercial organisations with a maximum of 5 free listings during a 30-day time period. For advanced functions such as interfaces with existing systems, consolidation of communication and a fully digitized rental process, the price models Business flex and Business fix are available.

History
Flatfox, the first Swiss startup in the PropTech sector, was founded in 2012 by Bernhard Mäder, Mattia Regi, Silvan Spross and Fabian Stutz. With the founders' full-time entry in 2014, the company began professionalizing its offer, focusing on digital process mapping and bundling of communication in the rental process. In 2017, Flatfox moved to the new company headquarters in the Zurich Binz area. The most recent financing round in June 2018 was supported by Investis, Helvetia, Ringier Digital Ventures and the previous investor Swiss Life.
